We,ve stayed at this hotel three times now. Dawn and her staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent , freshly cooked to order and plentiful, we would also reommend the tapas. The rooms are very clean and modern, traffic noise can be heard in the rooms in the front of the hotel but less so in the back, has never stopped us sleeping. We love this hotel and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Royal Hotel - Good Hotel, Good Value for money Very good value for money. Booked three twin rooms and all were clean with great bathrooms. Very good showers. Parked at the back of the pub. Would stay again.

Small, friendly hotel ideally located within the city. The rooms are just as good as they look in the photos and little touches such as body lotion and good quality soap in dispensers were a welcome addition. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a room within the price bracket.

We had a great stay! The staff were very friendy and helpful when we arrived, and later on when we ate. The food was good and reasonably priced, with a friendly atmosphere. The room looked recently refurbished with a new bathroom. I was worried about noise, after reading other comments, but there was not any (we were at the back, but there is double glazing to the front) apart from the church bells. I would stay again.

Great value and great rooms Excellent hotel - came to visit Lancaster for a day/evening out and the hotel was great. Bedrooms were clean, spcaious and modern with great bathroom. Located in centre of town within ten minutes walk of the train station. Would recommend over chains like Travel Inn.

Excellent! The Tapas was absolutely excellent! The best meal I have had for some time. The Full English Breakfast was also brilliant but I hope you're hungry as I could only manage half of it and I thought I had a large appetite.
